In late 2006, The Global Water Partnership asked SCRIPTORIA to design a course that would improve the clarity of the reports being produced by busy partners in the Eastern Africa Region.
Over a five-day period, our consultants worked with 20 members of staff from Ethiopia, Kenya, Burundi and Uganda to help them better understand the needs of the audiences they have to write for - and tackling complex issues such as lack of water, deforestation and climate change.
Much of this work involved teaching participants how to provide all the information needed, while pitching it at the appropriate technical level for the audience in question.
