WorldFish Center 2001-2011.
Based in Penang, Malaysia, The WorldFish Center (formerly ICLARM) is one of the large ($20 million plus) agricultural research centres that make up the CGIAR research group.
Scriptoria has worked repeatedly with the non-profit since 2001 to keep their brand fresh. As well as ghost-writing publications for them and training their staff in communications, we’ve handled the editing, design and layout of annual reports, policy briefs and other key product lines for the Center. In 2010, we were proud to edit, design and layout “Blue Harvest”, a glossy, 68-page publication which the WorldFish Center wrote in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Celebrating the International Year of Biodiversity, the book focused upon inland fisheries; it underlined their contribution to food production and livelihoods across the world, and discussed how they can be sustainably managed in the future.

SIWI 2005-2011.
The Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is the organisation behind “World Water Week” – the most important date in the calendar for businesses, NGOs, scientists and policymakers working to combat the escalating global water crisis.
Following on from our long history of editing for SIWI, Scriptoria was entrusted with the delicate job of editing "On The Waterfront". This is an annual collection of the most seminal and talked-about presentations to come out of World Water Week, on subjects ranging from rural toilet technology, to contaminated urban stormwater. Our expertise allows us to polish and standardise the very varied array of texts whilst leaving the individual voices and messages of diverse authors intact.

The
Dynamics of Integrated Coastal Zone Management. 2006. GEF/UNDP/IMO Regional Programme on Building Partnerships
in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA). 468 pp.
SCRIPTORIA's team edited this large and important book
by Dr Chua Thia-Eng, a leading light in integrated coastal
management (ICM) and PEMSEA's Regional Programme Director.
The 16-chapter book crystallizes his 20 years of experience
in developing and applying ICM across East Asia.
After we were recommended to him by a past client, Dr Chua approached us because he needed editors
who could produce high-quality work within a very tight
schedule. Both PEMSEA and SCRIPTORIA worked hard to ensure
that the 468-page book was ready for its launch at the
East Asian Seas Congress in December 2006.

Journal
Articles and Research Dissemination.
We edit many journal articles for individual
researchers and research institutes each year.
By outsourcing the editing of their journal articles
to us, the publication departments of these centres
free up precious resources without compromising
quality.
Our rates are always competitive, and we provide
bulk discounts to institutions which outsource
more than 10 articles to us per year. Pictured
here are a few examples of journals which have
published articles that we've edited.
